How does the dispatch workflow work?
The demonstrated Flor Plumbing workflow offers a request to an eligible provider, gives them a limited time to respond, and lets the customer review an estimate. Dispatch depends on real provider eligibility and availability. It does not promise an immediate appointment or an arrival within three minutes.
Check eligibility before making the offer
A provider must be verified, cover the requested service and area, be online, have recent activity and remain below their configured capacity. These checks prevent an offer from being assigned simply because a name appears in a directory. Real coverage depends on completed provider onboarding.
Separate the response window from arrival time
An offered request has a three-minute response window. A decline or expiry moves the request to the next eligible provider. The provider proposes an arrival indication with the estimate; the customer reviews it separately from the price. If nobody is available, the request stays unconfirmed rather than showing a fabricated booking.
Keep accepted jobs with the chosen provider
Before acceptance, the customer can review or skip an estimate. After acceptance, work stays assigned to that provider. Any later reassignment needs a separate resolution. The demo shows progress through en route, work in progress and completion, helping an office understand where responsibility changes.
Dispatch is different from calendar scheduling
This demo focuses on responding to incoming requests. A recurring calendar, route optimization, GPS tracking and native push delivery are not promised as released features. If you need scheduled maintenance visits or complex technician routing, ask about those requirements during onboarding.
Try a realistic office scenario
- Choose a sample job in Vancouver, BC and start the request.
- Simulate the response window ending, then inspect which fictional provider receives the next offer.
- Review the estimate and customer approval before confirming the work.
Flor Plumbing is in early access. The public demo is available today; live onboarding and feature availability are confirmed individually. Review the release status before planning a switch.
